Howdy!
Hi, I'm Sam. I'm a 5th generation Montanan, a singer-songwriter, guitar slinger, father, entrepreneur, trauma-therapist, and dilettante. Over the years, I've been a collaborator in dozens of Montana-based bands including Shakewell, Three-Eared Dog, and the Skurfs. Lucky Buckaroo is my solo project, a return to my roots, and my attempt to capture the culture and lived experiences of my friends and neighbors. I'm proud of these songs and think you'll find they're compelling without the need for extra polish. My live shows incorporate takes on my earliest influences, Texas and Nashville country music, western swing, blues, and of course good ol' American Rock'n'roll. When I can, I bring a few talented friends along for the party. See you around.
